Terms.

One page, in plain language. These terms plus your brief and the playback you approve are the whole agreement; there is no other document. Last updated 5 September 2026. Paying the deposit means you have read and accepted this page.

The order

Your order is what your approved playback describes, at the price we quote you in writing before any payment. Every engagement is scoped and priced in the playback; nothing is listed on the site. The playback is the record of what we heard; once you reply APPROVED, it is what we build. Nothing is made, and nothing is owed, before that approval.

Payment

Half of the price after you approve the stills, half on delivery, by card through Stripe. A company may pay the same two halves by invoice and bank transfer, each invoice carrying a due date, and a refund on that rail is a bank transfer back. The two charges appear on your statement as Vylux Studio, marked deposit and final balance. Nothing is charged before you have seen the real frames of your film and said yes to them.

The clocks

Your playback reaches you within two business days of your brief. Stills reach you within 48 hours of your playback approval and your product files arriving; the clock starts when both are in. The finished work is delivered in five business days for a 15 or 30 second film, and seven for a 60 second film or a film with a site, measured from your stills approval. Every clock pauses whenever a choice is with you: an approval, or the music pick. We take one production at a time; if we are mid-job when your brief arrives, your playback still comes within two business days and names your start date.

Revisions

Every film includes two rounds of changes after it is animated. A round is one list of changes, sent in one message, applied once: timings, on-screen text, music level, colour, take selection. Further rounds are quoted before they start. Changing the direction you approved at the stills is a new film, quoted as new work, not a round. And if something is wrong because we got it wrong (a defect, not a change of mind) we fix it free, and it never counts as one of your rounds.

The guarantee

If, after both revision rounds, the delivered work still does not work for you, tell us within 14 days of final delivery and we refund the full price of your order, films and site alike, to the card you paid with. The 14 days run from the first delivery of the finished work; revision rounds inside the window do not restart it.

A refund returns what was delivered. A refunded film loses its usage rights, and it cannot be a film you have already published or run as an ad; if the film has done its job, it worked, and a claim made after the film has run is declined. A refunded site comes down. When you claim the refund, you confirm the work has not been published and will not be used.

Ownership

Final payment transfers full commercial usage rights to the delivered work, in every format your order includes. Until then, and again after any refund, everything we make for the job stays ours: concepts, storyboards, playbacks, stills, cuts and films. Everything you give us stays yours: your logo, your photographs, your words, your brand colours. Fonts are used under your licence, which stays yours to hold.

How the film is made, and platform labels

We make the frames of your film with generative tools, directed shot by shot and finished by hand; you see and approve every frame before it moves. Some platforms label such films: TikTok reads provenance data and may add a label on its own, Meta asks advertisers to declare it when they place an ad, YouTube asks for a self flag, and from 2 August 2026 the EU requires the publisher to make it clear. You are the publisher, so any declaration on those platforms is yours to make; we never remove or alter provenance data in the files we deliver, and we never advise hiding a label. Your delivery sheet names which platforms may label the film.

Previews

Playbacks, stills sheets and preview cuts are working materials: they carry our mark and are supplied at preview resolution. The clean, full-resolution files are the deliverable, and they arrive at delivery.

Sites

A site we build runs on our hosting, with your domain pointed at it, so it can go live in days and stay maintained. It carries the same two rounds of changes within the scope your playback approved. On a refund, the site comes down; if you later want the site moved to your own hosting after full payment, ask; we hand it over.
